We are the North Hertfordshire Branch of Cats Protection, a registered charity dedicated to rescuing, neutering and rehoming cats and kittens within our catchment area (which includes Stevenage, Baldock, Letchworth, Hitchin, Codicote, Royston, Ashwell and other areas).

We are all volunteers and raise the money we need to pay for the care and veterinary treatment of homeless felines by organising fundraising events and receiving donations from the public, our branch members and sponsors. There are many ways in which you can support us.

Whilst we are always very grateful for all the support you give us, we are always looking for volunteers in the area to help with fostering, homing, homing visits, welfare work, fundraising and many other roles. In fact, if you can spare just an hour or two a week to help out, we would love to hear from you. See the Volunteering page for more information, and get in touch - we'd love to hear from you!

Check out our News pages, Feature Pages and follow us on Facebook to keep up to date with our latest news and developments.

If you are looking to adopt a cat, please go to the Adopt a cat section to view the cats that we have in our care.  Please be sure to read our adoption procedure carefully.

If you are thinking of adopting a kitten or kittens, please check out our special Kittens for adoption page.
